Sub-Regional Priority Framework (SRPF) document which will be discussed and endorsed at a sub-regional workshop, scheduled to take place in Cairo on the 7-8 December 2011. Participants will include senior policy makers in agricultural policies and strategies in the six SNO countries (Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria). 

The event will include:

• Presentations and discussions of the SRPF by SNO (situation analysis, what are we bringing to the table, issues, priorities and objectives, expected outcomes, mapping FAO, Government consultations and deliberations; etc).
• Contributions from FAO relevant divisions and Services;
• Discussion on conflicts and emergencies given the events in the sub region;
• Presentation from Government participants as well as FAO Representatives from the six member countries.
