Training Workshop on Building National Capacities in Operation and Management of Iraq Rural and Agricultural Knowledge and Information Network (IRAKIN)
Training Purpose
- To Train Trainees on various aspects of information management to operate and manage different IRAKIN modules and use these modules in their jobs: IRAKIN data collection, compilation, entry, processing and output, and the use of relevant information technology tools for information dissemination and knowledge exchange;
- To Train Trainees on Operation and Management of IRAKIN Information System including the use of information management tools; database management and system development; web content management; and web development.; and
- To Train Trainees on AGRIS tools and methodologies and the use of AGRIS application profile within the framework of IRAKIN content management and to operate different IRAKIN modules and use these modules in their jobs.
Objective: Training of 15 national staff in various aspects of the information cycle from the Ministry of Agriculture of Iraq. The Training Workshop will be conducted for MOA IRAKIN staff and trainers in collaboration with FAO Regional Office for the Near East and FAO-Representation in Iraq. This training will cover Operation and Management of Modern Information System and includes IRAKIN network modules design and development with special focus on hands-on training on frontend and backend for content management for information dissemination and knowledge exchange.
