Sub-Regional Training Workshop on "Information Management Systems for Management and Dissemination of Electronic Information in Agriculture"
Sub-Regional Workshop on Digital Libraries for Management and Dissemination of Agricultural knowledge for Development will be organized in a joint training activity between FAO and AOAD.
The workshop will be designated for Capacity Building and Development of ICT/ICM Specialists and Library Information and knowledge Management Specialists in the application of Information and Communication Management Systems (Digitization and Digital Libraries) for strengthening Knowledge Resources Linkages in NE Member States in Sub Regional Levels.
The current proposal is to hold the first workshop at Sub regional level in 28-31 January 2006, after which other sub-regional workshops could be provided on an annual basis, to cover other sub-regions as applicable.
