27th edition of Tehran International Book Fair

The Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) is considered the most important publishing event in Asia and the Middle East. It is a place where the publishers directly supply books and negotiate future business.

The book Fair  is an exchange of ideas and a commercially valuable exhibition event

More than 2,500 domestic and 1,700 foreign publishers participate in the book fair and more than 5 million people visit the exhibition every year.

Iran Cultural Fairs Institute is responsible for organizing the book fair on behalf of Cultural Ministry and Islamic Guidance. The 27th edition of Tehran International Book Fair was held this year from 30 April to 10 May.

FAO established its pop up office at the 27th edition of Tehran International Book Fair to share latest information and knowledge available in sectors related to agriculture and food security.
