The Regional Office for the Near East of the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO/RNE) in collaboration with Agricultural Information Centre (AICE) of Oman Ministry of Agricultural and Fisheries that was established in collaboration with FAO in the framework of FAO Technical cooperation Programme, will organize three training for trainers workshops on "Building National Capacities in Agricultural Information Network in Support of Agricultural and Rural Development" from 29 May to 1 June 2011, at AICE, Muscat, Oman. 

Technical Support Service (TSS) and Trainings for Trainers and core staff in mission in the framework of project UTF/OMA/006 “Development of an Agricultural Information Centre (AICE)” in Oman, with the following specific Terms of Reference: 

• Review the progress status of the project components;
• Review the technical service provided and information management products or modules developed;
• Initiate and participate in training activities, as appropriate;
• Participate in other relevant activities and provide inputs and recommendations to the project implementation.
