Good Agricultural Practices (GAP): Irrigation and Soil Management Workshop
The workshop will benefit some 40 farmers and members of the Dardara Water Cooperative. The beneficiaries will be introduced to good agricultural practices that in other countries have been successful in improving irrigation methods and soil fertility management. Drip irrigation system techniques and other irrigation methods, installation of fertigation units, maintenance of irrigation equipment, collection of soil samples and fertilization techniques for vegetables and fruits, will be some of the practices that the training will explore during the three days. The workshop will also include a visit to the project sites and field demonstrations. The training workshop is organized as part of the , which implemented with the financial support of the Government of Italy.
