Between 31 January and 2 February 2016, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt will host this event. 
The Forum is building on the implementation of the United Nations Development Goals in the Arab States Strategic Action Plan on Youth Issues (2010-2012), which defined strategic priorities and ways to translate these priorities into actions that accelerate the achievement of the Millennium and Sustainable Development Goals and the UN system-wide Plan of Action of the Second United Nations Decade for the Eradication of Poverty (2008-2017). The event will seek to promote green jobs for young people, link green employment policies with existing initiatives aimed at youth, and identify possible synergies between them. Discussions will focus on promoting micro and small enterprises, and providing knowledge and experience for young people to enable them to fully participate in the emerging green economy.
