The training workshop aims at building the capacity of the plant quarantine officers, inspectors and private sector from Bahrain and participants from GCC countries and Yemen for better understanding of requirements and practical application of international standards related to international trade with focus on the (ISPM-15), regarding the regulation of wood packaging material in international trade and (ISMP-20), the guidelines for a phytosanitary import regulatory system.
