Jordan: Ceremony of the signature of the CPF and celebration of the World Food Day
The CPF for Jordan was signed on the 17th of October on the occasion of the World Food Day, by the Minister of Agriculture of Jordan, H.E. Ahmed Al Khattab, and Mr. Achouri Moujahed, FAO Representative in Egypt, who signed on behalf of the Organization.

The CPF for Jordan was signed on the 17th of October on the occasion of the World Food Day, by the Minister of Agriculture of Jordan, H.E. Ahmed Al Khattab, and Mr. Achouri Moujahed, FAO Representative in Egypt, who signed on behalf of the Organization.
The WFD ceremony, which was chaired by H.E the Minister of Agriculture, witnessed the participation of high level national authorities, farmer associations, UN agencies and international organizations.
On the occasion of the CPF signature, H.E. the Minister has reiterated his appreciation for the technical support provided by FAO in several fields related to agriculture. The Minister also highlighted the need to further consolidate the partnership with FAO in light of the priorities identified in the CPF.
