Training Workshop on the Application of the ISPM6 on Plant Pest Surveillance
The Near East Plant Protection Organization (NEPPO) and the FAO Regional Office for the Near East and North Africa sub-regional office, in cooperation with ICARDA and the Office of health and safety of food in the Kingdom of Morocco, are organizing a training workshop on Pest Surveillance in the framework of the International Standard of Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM6). The training workshop will be held in Fes, Kingdom of Morocco, during the period 4 to 6 June, 2012.

The training aims at building the capacity of a group of trainers from the Near East countries for better to comprehension of the ISPM 6, practical requirement for its application and field application of the plant pest surveys in accordance with the ISPM6.
