Earlier Turkey asked to cooperate with FAO, "FAO" the latter asked Turkey to visit the Kingdom to benefit from the program, and currently Nigerian representatives are in Riyadh to study and transfer Saudi Arabia programme to Nigeria which requested FAO technical Cooperation.

The FAO technical cooperation Programme Coordinator in the Kingdom, Dr. Abdullah Ohabi confirmed the FAO technical cooperation programme in the Kingdom is considered a model for the countries of the world, noting that this was not to happen without the great support of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Ohabi said that "FAO" brought Turkey to benefit from the experience of Saudi Arabia recently in the agricultural sector, noting that currently exist Nigeria also to benefit from the technical cooperation programme that FAO is implementing in the Kingdom, pointing out that this will happen to other countries in the future.

He pointed out that relationship between "FAO" and Kingdom started since 1950 and was based on the technical cooperation and support provided by FAO to the agricultural sector and the support of the ministry in the development of sustainable agricultural development, especially at this time which is witnessing scarcity of natural resources and climate change, but the cooperation and serious desire of Saudi Arabia Agriculture has helped to ensure the success of this program and make it a global model. He noted that the organization operates technical program with the Kingdom that renewed every 5 years, indicating that in a certain period, thirty (30) experts from "FAO" were available in the Kingdom and worked on the development of the National Centre for Palm Research and Development Unit of olive and other projects.

On the other hand praised Ambassador Yaya Ollneran, Permanent Representative of Nigeria in Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Rome, who visited King Abdulaziz City for Arabian Horses and expressed his admiration for the work program adopted in the centre and the integration of services provided by the centre of the health care and welfare services for Arabian horses.

The Director of the King Abdulaziz Centre for Arabian Horses, engineer Sami Suleiman Alnahet, provided an explanation of the centre’s role in the maintenance and development on the breed pedigree Arabian horses.
