World Food Day (WFD) is a landmark international UN observance bringing a number of partners and voices together around a shared pledge of working towards a world free of hunger and one where access to healthy diets for all is guaranteed, with hundreds of events – from marathons and hunger marches to exhibitions, cultural performances, contests and concerts – organized in around 150 countries across the world each year. This year’s theme is “Right to Foods for a Better Life and a Better Future”. ‘Foods’ stands for diversity, nutrition, affordability, accessibility and safety.

On 16 October 2024, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in New York is partnering with ARTECHOUSE: an innovative leader in the field of digital and experiential art, for the screening of an exclusive immersive experience dedicated to the 2024 theme.This exclusive event will bring together Permanent Representatives to the United Nations, NY-based foundations, the UN system, community members, representatives from New York City, and other stakeholders.
