Hand in Hand with Youth: Local Innovation for Global Food Solutions

13/10/2025

As we celebrate FAO’s 80th Anniversary and the World Food Forum 2025, under the theme “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future”, the FAO Liaison Offices in Brussels (LOB), Geneva (LOG), and New York (LON) will host this event to spotlight how locally driven, youth-led entrepreneurship is transforming agrifood systems at both local and global levels.

Why Attend?

Innovate For Impact: You will hear directly from young entrepreneurs who will present their innovative ideas, as well as from incubators and accelerators supporting their efforts. Together, we will explore how innovation can tackle today’s most pressing challenges-from climate shocks, resource scarcity, to food waste.

Get inspired: Discover how passionate young entrepreneurs are reshaping the agrifood landscape with game-changing solutions.

Celebrate Women-Led Innovation: We will spotlight women in agrifood entrepreneurship, emphasizing women’s empowerment as a cornerstone of transformative solutions that leave no one behind.

Engage across generations: Exchange ideas with emerging entrepreneurs and seasoned experts from FAO, accelerators, and incubators, gaining valuable insights and answers to your questions.
