Rome, 15 June 2013-- The B.R. Sen award is presented to FAO Field Officers with the most outstanding contribution to the advancement of their country(s) of assignment. This award pays tribute to former Director-General, Mr B.R. Sen and recognises the important role he played in transforming FAO from a study organization to a development agency.
