CABI’s One Health Hub has developed a forward-looking research roadmap based on two core methodologies:
Global One Health research 2010-2024
A CABI paper reveals significant disparities in the global distribution of One Health research outputs, highlighting the need for greater inclusion of low- and middle-income countries.
- Press release: CABI study reveals major inequalities in global One Health research
- Evidence briefs: The evolution of One Health research and One Health research must give voice to Global South
- Paper: A bibliometric analysis of One Health research, guided by the Joint Plan of Action, 2010–2024
Horizon scanning for future One Health priorities
An evidence-based horizon scanning exercise identifies integrated surveillance and cross-sectoral data systems as top global research priorities for One Health.
- Press release: Integrated surveillance tops future One Health research priorities
- Evidence brief: One Health research – integrated surveillance tops future priorities

Their work supports strategic research planning to guide investments, collaborations, and action across the One Health spectrum. This learning dialogue offers an opportunity to build awareness, foster debate, and gather collective insights to shape future research directions.
- Find out about the methods and findings of CABI’s One Health research roadmap
- Discuss key research priorities, knowledge gaps, and relevance to different sectors
- Share perspectives and lived experiences that can inform ongoing work
- Reflect on how the findings may be applied in your own contexts.
This will be a semi-structured, interactive session designed to promote peer-to-peer exchange.
This learning dialogue is hosted by the One Health Knowledge Nexus. It complements the CABI One Health Knowledge Hub webinar on 14 November 2025.
