The training course will be jointly organized by WHO and FAO. Eighteen (18) staff (National Sleeping Sickness Control Programmes (NSSCPs) are expected to be participating from nine (9) different countries (Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Guinea). One staff from the NSSCP in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), whom had been trained by WHO/FAO in previous occasions, will also participate as resource person. The main goal is to enable NSSCP to use the Atlas of HAT for better planning activities on the field and analysis.
