A stakeholder workshop will be organized by FAO and the Cellule de Coordination de Lutte contre les Mouches Tsé-tsé et les Trypanosomoses animales (CCLMT) in Mali. Forty-four (44) participants are expected to attend it.

FAO/IAEA project successfully integrates insect birth control technique for thriving livestock sector. After a four-year eradication programme including nuclear techniques, the Niayes region of Senegal is going to become free of the tsetse fly, which used to decimate livestock.
