Description: In 2020, the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and FAO renewed their collaboration. Their new partnership will focus on strengthening and mobilizing education and knowledge on integrated water resources management to support evidence-based decision-making in areas related to agricultural policies, water accounting and auditing, assessment and reduction of land and water productivity gaps, and on irrigation modernization.

Name of the institution: Indian Council of Agricultural Research
Description: FAO and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) became partners in 2018 with the purpose of fostering capacity development and technology and expertise exchange, especially between developing countries. The partnership focuses on areas such as crop production technologies, pest and soil management, animal health, agricultural mechanization, sustainable natural resource management (including water, forests and rangelands), and agricultural policies and institutional development, among others.

Description: FAO and the Institut Polytechnique LaSalle Beauvais have been officially collaborating since 2013 to promote knowledge exchanges and develop capacities in support of food security, including scientific research, expert lectures, and internships.

Description: FAO and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement have been partners since 2018. Together, they aim to facilitate research and build expertise to promote innovative and sustainable farming production systems, biodiversity in food and agriculture, and sustainable food practices. The partnership primarily supports innovations at the national level, using IRD's training and exchange platforms, mobilizing high-level experts to build institutional capacities, and supporting South-South Cooperation and Triangular cooperation programs.

Description: Since 2014 the partnership between FAO and the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas supports climate-smart agricultural development, crop diversification and productivity, sustainable management of water and land resources, food security, and rural livelihoods in global drylands. Activities promote efficient and evidence-based food security information and knowledge exchange for effective decision support systems, farmer capacities to scale-up technologies and best practices related to water management, and knowledge exchanges which advocate for small-holder farms.
