FAO and the Pan-African Farmers’ Organization (PAFO) have launched the first edition of the Youth Mentorship Programme, a joint pilot initiative designed to empower young African agricultural producers with the skills, knowledge and connections they need to lead inclusive agrifood systems transformation. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and World Vision International (WVI) have renewed their long-standing partnership by signing a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at FAO Headquarters in Rome. The agreement aims to address food insecurity, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture, with a particular focus on vulnerable children.   The renewed agreement builds on over a decade of collaboration between FAO and WVI, which has fostered shared knowledge and expertise in addressing food insecurity.
