The United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) and UN Development Cooperation Office (UNDCO) are pleased to announce the launch of a new e-learning module designed to strengthen South-South and triangular cooperation across the UN development system at country and regional levels. This self-paced online module, developed in collaboration with FAO, PAHO, UNFPA, WFP, and UN System Staff College, will effectively equip UN Country Teams and regional entities with practical tools and knowledge to mainstream South-South and triangular cooperation in their development frameworks.

The FAO-Republic of Korea (ROK) project, aims to strengthen rice research and training institutions in Tanzania, Cote d’Ivoire, and the Philippines, developing competitive and inclusive rice value chains through SSTC.

03/12/2024 The project "South-South Cooperation: Digital Transformation and Innovation in Agriculture" has completed its implementation in Latin America and the Caribbean, with results that have directly benefited 800 people from rural areas, especially in communities with limited access and connectivity. Furthermore, it has had an indirect impact on over 4,000 people. Led by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the People's Republic of China, and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), the project promoted digital initiatives in 12 countries across the region to support the recovery of rural livelihoods impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
