New Technologies in Seed Testing

Organized jointly by the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

Virtual Event, 04/10/2023

The primary purpose of the webinar is to bring together experts to present information on emerging new technologies in seed testing to a wide range of seed sector stakeholders, including researchers and practitioners, with the view to educate and raise awareness.  The webinar will also promote discussions on potential benefits arising from using these new technologies and best practices to advance trade in quality seeds for improved agricultural production and therefore contributing to continuing efforts by FAO to raise awareness of the importance of quality seeds for food security and nutrition in line with aspirations of the 2021 FAO Global Seed Conference.
