NSP Gender Group promoting how to enhance women’s visibility in agroecology

The webinar “Boosting the potential of women farmers as protagonist of agroecological experiences: stories from the field’’ took place virtually with over 90 participants engaged to share the updates, lessons learnt and activities on the importance of the work women farmers are doing to implement agroecological experiences in all regions.

Chikelu Mba has been appointed Deputy Director of the FAO Plant Production and Protection Division (NSP). Mr Mba has been working for the Organization for 13 years and, until this appointment, led the Seeds and Plant Genetic Resources Team of NSP.
