Bioversity International announces the 2012 Vavilov-Frankel Fellowships

Bioversity International has just announced the Vavilov-Frankel Fellowships 2012 to carry out research, from 3 to 12 months, on a wide range of biophysical, economic and social themes related to the conservation and use of plant genetic resources in developing countries.

Under this call, two fellowships of up to USD 20,000 will be made available through a fund that since 1989 has supported 37 young scientists from 24 developing countries. The deadline for applications is 6 November 2011. The formal announcement, the guidelines and the application form are available online in English, French and Spanish.
