I have the honour to inform you that the documentation for the First Special Session of the Governing Body, to be held on 7 and 8 December 2021, is already online on the meeting web page in all FAO official languages.

I would like to draw your attention to the special procedures for the First Special Session, described in the Appendix to the Annotated Provisional Agenda (IT/GB-Sp1/21/1.2). In particular, Item 3 of the Provisional Agenda will be addressed through a correspondence procedure. Contracting Parties are invited to submit any comments and questions in writing to the Secretariat. The comments or questions to Item 3 can be sent through [email protected] no later than 17:00 hours (CET) on 19 November 2021.
