Harvesting nature's diversity

In order to draw attention to the continuing loss of biodiversity and mobilize action to halt this genetic erosion, the choosen theme of 1993's World Food Day (WFD) was "Harvesting nature's diversity". This book was published in this context. It introduces the concepts of biodiversity, the conservation and use of genetic resources, the biodiversity and indigenous knowledge, among others.
