FMO in partnership with FAO (the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), has organizaed a webinar on Accelerating Food System Transformation and Resilience in times of COVID-19.
This webinar takes place on June 15th at 13:00 CEST and is organised for FMO’s Agribusiness clients in Africa and Asia.
COVID-19 is transforming economies and redefining business relationships across the globe, and food systems are no exception. The myriad of actors involved – from farmers, to processing plants, to logistical companies and retailers – will have to adjust to build safe and resilient food systems to ensure food security.
In this webinar, we bring together practical experiences from FMO’s clients and technical expertise from FAO. Together, experts and agribusiness clients will showcase a variety of transformative measures that can be taken, ranging from production practices, to smart value addition methods to reduce post-harvest losses, to digital logistical and distribution platforms.
