Exclusive Food Tank Webinar Series: Reducing Food Losses From Farm to Market

This webinar will present current evidence of high levels of global postharvest food losses, identify the causes and sources of losses occurring between the farm and the market, and provide information on a wide range of options for using simple, cost effective practices and technologies for reducing food losses. Examples will include practices that can be used on the farm, during transport, for cooling perishable foods, for temporary on-farm storage and small-scale food processing and packaging to extend shelf life. A resource list and reference materials will be provided for those interested in further information.
The webinar will include a 30-40 minute presentation by Kitnoja and then 15-20 minutes for questions.
