Launch of the New Post-Harvest Loss Information Platform for Brazil
Hybrid Event, 10/11/2021
10 am Easter time (USA and Canada) - The webinar aims to release SIPPOC. The Post-Harvest Loss Information System (SIPPOC) aims to provide information and tools to support decisions related to post-harvest losses in Brazil and worldwide, both private and public sectors. All the information has been systematized, and it is available on an online and free access platform that involves a website integrated with a geographic information system (GIS), loss calculation tools, secondary databases of global loss indicators for different cultures, and a loss calculator for logistical activities.
Communication post-webinar to whom interested
"We are happy to announce that we launched the Post-Harvest Loss Information System (SIPPOC). The platform provides information and tools to support decision-making related to post-harvest losses worldwide. You can watch the last Consortium for Innovation in Post-Harvest Loss & Food Waste Reduction webinar and check the presentation out (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtkGw9vYN9cl).
We invite you to access the SIPPOC platform using the link: https://sippoc.esalqlog.com.br/
The access is free of charge, and you will need to register.
And if you have new findings related to Post-Harvest Loss quantification, we invite you to make your paper available at the SIPPOC database. You can do it using the following link: https://forms.gle/PM1HQDEr9dUoRVQb7
If you have any questions or need additional information, let us know by contacting Fernando Vinícius da Rocha ([email protected]) and Thiago Guilherme Pera ([email protected]).
We look forward to interacting with you through the SIPPOC platform.
