Launched in 2013 by co-founders Iseult Ward and Aoibheann O’Brien, FoodCloud, a social enterprise, has created a food redistribution solution that provides an environmentally-sensitive, socially-responsible, and economically-viable alternative to throwing away perfectly good food.
In this interactive 60-minute WFF Masterclass, you will learn about food loss and waste, and its impact on the climate and on food insecurity. You will also hear the story of FoodCloud and how it has supported the redistribution of over 110M surplus meals from retailers, producers and manufacturers to charities and community groups.
