Alliance 8.7 is a global partnership committed to achieving Target 8.7 of the Sustainable Development Goals. This  Target  calls  for  States  to  take  immediate  action  and  effective  measures  to  eradicate  forced  labour,  end  modern slavery  and  human  trafficking  by  2030  and  secure  the  prohibition  and  elimination  of  the  worst  forms  of  child  labour, including recruitment and use of child soldiers, and by 2025 end child labour in all its forms.

Alliance 8.7 will support countries and other partners in this effort by:

• Increasing collaborative action on Target 8.7, ensuring acceleration, focus and coherence;
• Driving innovation and scaling up solutions that work; and
• Providing a platform to engage in dialogue and to share knowledge and information.
