This background paper to the guidance that FAO is developing on strengthening science–policy interfaces (SPIs) for agrifood systems at the national level sets provides information about the structures and patterns common to global SPIs. الميثاق البرلماني العالمي لمكافحة الجوع وسوء التغذية 2023 هو نتيجة القمة البرلمانية العالمية الثانية لمكافحة الجوع وسوء التغذية، التي عقدت في تشيلي في 15-16 يونيو 2023.

تساعد المبادئ التوجيهية للعمل بشأن الحد من الفاقد والمهدر من الأغذية في الشرق الأدنى وشمال أفريقيا دول الشرق الأدنى وشمال أفريقيا على تنفيذ مدونة السلوك الطوعية للحد من الفاقد والمهدر من الأغذية، مما يوفر أساساً للاستراتيجيات، وخطط العمل، والسياسات، والتشريعات المتوافقة مع أهداف نظام الزراعة الغذائية الوطني، وأطر السياسات. وتوفر إطار عمل مصمم خصيصاً لمنطقة الشرق الأدنى وشمال أفريقيا مع خمسة عوامل تمكينية، وثلاثة مجالات عمل كنهج شامل، ومتكامل لوضع السياسات التي تؤدي إلى الحد من الفاقد، والمهدر من الأغذية.

The Guidelines for action on food loss and waste reduction in the Near East and North Africa provide support to Member Countries to implement the Voluntary Code of Conduct for Food Loss and Waste Reduction, an international instrument designed to guide FLW policymaking and interventions at global level. These regionally-tailored Guidelines offer a basis for developing national strategies, policies, and legislation enabling food loss and waste reduction in line with national agrifood system objectives of NENA countries. Legislating for an ecosystem approach to fisheries (EAF) is complex, due to the holistic nature of EAF involving multiple factors that underpin the social, economic, environmental, and institutional aspects of fisheries sustainability.
