La FAO, por conducto de su División de Asociaciones y Colaboración con las Naciones Unidas, busca alianzas y una colaboración más estrecha con los parlamentarios, ya que considera que ese tipo de relaciones son fundamentales para su labor encaminada a cumplir los compromisos mutuos en materia de seguridad alimentaria y nutricional, incluido el derecho a una alimentación adecuada.
