The Climate Risk Toolbox (CRTB) was developed to support climate-resilient project design. The tool is an open-access resource, hosted on the Hand-in-Hand Geospatial platform, allowing users to obtain a climate risk screening and report containing climate resilient measures, crucial to strengthen project formulation at early stages. Forest-based adaptation is an ensemble of climate actions that employ forests and trees in support of climate change adaptation and resilience, including sustainable forest management, forest conservation and restoration, reforestation and afforestation. The project objective was to support the implementation of sustainable forest management in Azerbaijan, increase the social and economic benefits gleaned from forests, improve the quality of existing forests, and increase carbon sequestration. The evaluation found that, despite a broad scope, limited timeline and limited resources, the project addressed and secured full achievement of the most strategic parts under two components.
