2016 International Year of Pulses Breakfast, IGA Perth Royal Show
The IGA Perth Royal Show is a not-for-profit event that is Western Australia’s biggest and most iconic annual community celebration, championing the success of our agricultural and regional industries.
Established in 1834 by the Royal Agricultural Society of WA (RASWA), the IGA Perth Royal Show has touched the lives of generations of Western Australians, attracting up to 400,000 visitors each year.
One of the key objectives at the Show is education, and as part of the International Year of Pulses 2016, it will be promoting the nutritional and sustainable agriculture benefits of pulses.
UNFAO Special Ambassador for the International Year of Pulses 2016 Professor Kadambot Siddique will speak to this topic at a breakfast event on Wednesday, 28 September 2016.
