Conference on the occasion of the international year of pulses: “Nutritious seeds for a sustainable future”

Hungary organizes a conference on the occasion of the International Year of Pulses in Budapest on September 29. The aim of the conference is to show the importance and benefits of pulses from farm to fork. The event is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary in collaboration with background institutions, research centres, academia and the private sector. The multi-stakeholder conference will be opened by Mr. Sándor Fazekas Minister of Agriculture of Hungary and Mr. Vladimir Rakhmanin Regional Representative of FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia. The rich program includes also photo exhibition, food tasting and display of pulses.
