The animated video, "The Origin of Quinoa" tells the story of how quinoa came to the Andean people and the world. The Aymara legend describes how a star blessed the Aymara people with the “golden grain” after meeting a young peasant.
The video was produced by “La Fabrica Producciones” and directed by Jorge Carmona with music by Lucho Quequezana and Cabina Libre with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Commerce and Tourism of Peru.
