Third Meeting of the Joint Permanent Committee (JPC) of the Mediterranean Animal Health Network (REMESA), in Algiers – Algeria, 1-2 February 2011

Within the framework of the Mediterranean Animal Health Network (REMESA) activities, the coordination Unit of the REMESA, with the collaboration of the Algerian Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, organized the third meeting of the Joint Permanent Committee (JPC) of the REMESA in Algiers on the 1st and 2nd February 2011.

The main objectives of this meeting were to review the institutional, operational and financial arrangements as well as the present and future REMESA activities. This meeting brought together the Chiefs Veterinaries Officers (CVOs) from the ten REMESA countries (Mauritania, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Portugal, Spain, France and Italy) as well as representative of EC, FAO, OIE and UMA.
