This guide captures principles and methods of ongoing coaching processes for innovation niche partnerships under the Capacity Development for Agricultural lnnovation Systems (CDAIS) project, financed by the European Union. In an effort to support beekeepers in the sustainable production of good quality beehive products, TECA together with its partners, have developed a set of information sheets on good beekeeping practices for the main bee diseases. They are designed following the TECA standards, to help beekeepers, and those providing advisory services to the beekeepers, correctly identify honey bee diseases, apply the correct treatment and to prevent them. This document contains a brief report of the FAO Regional Meeting on Agricultural Biotechnologies in Sustainable Food Systems and Nutrition in Asia-Pacific held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 11–13 September 2017. During the meeting FAO engaged a broad range of stakeholders from government officials and intergovernmental organizations to non-state actors, including civil society, private sector, research/academic institutions and cooperative/producer organizations in the dialogue on issues related to agricultural biotechnologies.
