Isobel Edwards is Executive Director/Vice President of Green, Social and Impact Bonds at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in The Hague. She is responsible for assessing the credentials of green, social and impact bonds and their issuers, as well as aligning the GSAM impact bond assessment methodology with the latest market and scientific guidance. She is an Environmental Scientist by training and has previously worked as a Researcher for the Climate Bonds Initiative, developing environmental standards for the green bond industry.
Anup
Jagwani is the Senior Global Sector Manager for Agribusiness and Forestry at
the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where he leads the framing and implementation
of the Agribusiness & Forestry sector strategy, including creating markets
for Investment and Advisory projects.
Before
this role, Anup led several areas of IFC’s climate business, including Paris
Alignment; sustainable finance; carbon pricing and carbon credits; climate
risk, adaptation and resilience; biodiversity finance and nature-based
solutions and; stakeholder engagement & disclosure.
Anup
has spent over 20 years in IFC’s investment operations, with significant focus
on agribusiness and agtech investments and his educational background is in
economics and management.
Dr Ayesha K. Khan is the Regional Managing Director at Acumen– a global impact investment fund where she is raising Pakistan’s first climate focused private equity fund, investing in climate focused agribusinesses.
Dr Khan has a strong background in business strategy, climate finance and international business. Before Acumen, she worked in the financial sector including as head of strategy at the largest bank in Pakistan, and in New York with McKinsey & Company. Dr Khan holds a doctorate from Harvard Business School, a graduate degree in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School and an undergraduate in Economics from Princeton University.
Mohamed Manssouri is Director of the FAO Investment Centre, an agricultural economist and an expert in agricultural and rural development, food security and poverty reduction. He previously occupied positions in the Investment Centre as Service Chief for Europe and Central Asia, Near East and Noth Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to FAO, he was Country Director with IFAD, where he led the development and management of country investment strategies and programmes in West and Central Africa. He holds a BSc and an MSc from the Paris Institute of Technology for Life, Food and Environment Sciences.



Luca Torre is the founder and co-CEO of GAWA Capital, Spain's leading impact investment firm, with more than EUR 200 million under management. He has spent most of the last 20 years investing in and advising financial institutions and socially-focused businesses in emerging markets. Before GAWA Capital, he was an investment banker for Credit Suisse's Latin America Financial Institutions Group, working on microfinance-related transactions. Luca previously worked in India for Annapurna, a cooperative microfinance bank and for the Boston Consulting Group. He graduated from the University of Brighton and has an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Natalia Zhukova is Director of the Agribusiness sector Team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which includes 50 staff with 24 different nationalities. Natalia joined the Team at the end of 2004. During her years at the EBRD, she was instrumental in increasing the Agribusiness portfolio in Russia and Central Asia. Natalia was Regional Head of Agribusiness in Russia, Central Asia, Greece and Cyprus, until 2017 when she became the Head of Agribusiness. Before joining the EBRD, Natalia worked as a Deputy Head of the Risk Analysis division at VTB retail arm, DeltaCredit, and in the private sector.
Dr. Umunay is a Senior Environmental Specialist at the Global Environment Facility (GEF) where he manages Food Land Use Restoration (FOLUR) and agriculture and food systems integrated programs. Peter supports the GEF’s mandate to generate global environmental benefits under the biodiversity, climate change, and land degradation focal areas. He brings over 15 years of work experience with international organizations, academic and research institutions and governments. Peter has contributed to around 30 scientific publications in the areas of the forest-climate nexus, land use finance and sustainable commodities. He holds a MSc and PhD from Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
