FAO Science and Innovation Forum 2024 Opening

Join the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and a diverse group of global leaders in science and innovation for the opening of the 2024 FAO Science and Innovation Forum. This opening session will emphasize enhancing the accessibility of the most relevant, appropriate and context-specific technologies, innovative practices, and scientific and local knowledge. It will also advocate for collective action, knowledge sharing and capacity development to accelerate the pace and scale of agrifood systems transformation. At the end of this session, there will be a launch of the World Food Forum Young Scientists Group's report on digital technologies for multi-dimensional youth engagement in food systems transformation.
