Soil Selfies” – an introduction to soils for the IYS

An introduction to soils for rural primary schools of the Wimmera focusing on: 

1 soil –develops awareness of the often unnoticed soil around us 

2  soil colours – uses Science from our senses and explores the complexity of colour shades 

3 some key uses of soil – focusing on plant groups and how they contribute food and/or pleasure towards a healthy life
