International Youth Forum on Soil and Water Conservation (IYFSWC)

The purpose of the conference is to bring researchers, practitioners and policy makers a world-wide platform to share their research and discuss creative solutions related to soil and water conservation. IYFSWC is focusing to see the “old” soil and water conservation problems in the vision of the youth.

Soil and water conservation has been recognized by governments around the world as key to coping with global climate change, ensuring ecological balance, food security and social stability. Much progress has been made. The younger generation has emerged as a new force in protecting soil and water resources, preventing land degradation and improving the environment, and is playing an increasingly important role.

We hope young scholars and students, besides companies and organizations engaged in scientific research, technological development, management, teaching and training, and engineering design of soil and water conservation, will use this opportunity to broaden their horizons by participating in this conference.
