‘International Year of Soils’ Celebration Planned in Manhattan

In celebration of soil, the United Nations declared 2015 the “International Year of Soils.” K-State will host an event—with a program, displays and reception—on Sunday, Sept. 27 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Manhattan, Kansas, recognizing this special year and essential natural resource. The event, free and open to the public, will kick off the 12^th International Phytotechnologies Conference that will take place through Sept. 30.
