The 9th Scientific International Confernece INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR REVITALISATION OF DEGRADED AREAS

The 9th Scientific International Confernece INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR REVITALISATION OF DEGRADED AREAS will be held in Chorzów (Poland) from 6 th till  8th October 2015.

The goal of the conference is presentation of achievements and results of scientific and research works, practic technical and organizational solutions supporting the balanced development of degraded sites.

The thematic scope of the Conference covers all aspects of revitalisation of degraded areas.This year the Conference will focus on conversion of degraded areas into public space.

We welcome state and private organisations as well as local governments involved in the process of revitalisation of degraded areas, particularly post-industrial sites, i.e. local and regional authorities, site owners, companies dealing with soil and groundwater remediation and land reclamation, construction companies, academia, R&D units, experts, consultants, financial institutions, and insurance companies from Poland and abroad.

Conference is organized by The Research and Supervisory Center of Underground Mining Co. Ltd., Ledziny, Poland and Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas, Katowice, Poland.
