World Food Day

In the context of WFD and the International Year of Soils (IYS), LOG will organize an exhibition on soils with the UNOG and the State of Geneva in the heart of the Palais des Nations to shed light on the importance of soils for food & nutrition security. The opening will be launched in the presence of the Director-General of the UNOG, the State Counsellor of Geneva in charge of Environment & Agriculture, and LOG’s OiC, Sandra Aviles.

The exhibition is consisted of a giant carrot sculpture surrounded by 5 thematic boxes highlighting, “Soils nourish, soils store, soils are vulnerable, soils are a limited public good”, with posters, banners and infographics on the IYS.
