World Rural Women’s Day Celebration

Rural women farmers involved in growing various high value crops and food crops will gather to celebrate their day. The women went on a procession to create awareness on their roles in supporting agriculture and also will participate in a panel discussion during which they will ask pertinent questions bothering on agriculture and how they could improve on their practices and be assisted to build their resilience.

Theme for celebration is International Year of Soils: Women access, control and use of land.
