Vernissage of The Soil Museum _ MIdA

The MIdA Foundation - Integrated Museum of the Environment has opened a Soil Museum. the museum is scheduled to open on December 4, 2015, on the World Soil Day, with a vernissage.  

The museum includes soil materials, multimedia exhibits based on 4 pedons, shows on soil materials, soil formation, soil biology, soil thin sections, manipulation of soils, plant roots, soils and history, soils and landscapes, soil managment.

With the patronage of: European Commission, Italian Society of Pedology, Italian Socienty of Soil Science, Italian Socienty of Agronomy, Italian Socienty of Horticuture, Italian Socienty of Forestry, Italian Socienty of Agricultural Chemistry, Cilento Geopark.
