SOIL HEALTH

The ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science, Bhopal, is celebrating "International Year of Soils 2015" and "World Soil Day". On this occasion a programme on "Soil Health" is being organized jointly with the ​Government of Madhya Pradesh. In this programme "Soil Health Cards" will be distributed to farmers of Madhya Pradesh by Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan ji, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. It is expected that programme will be attended by more than 20,000 farmers, scientists and dignitaries from State and Central Government Departments. Exhibitions of technologies for soil management will be displayed by putting stalls from different institutions/departments on the occasion.
