Combined Congress

The Soil Science Society of South Africa (SSSSA) will celebrate the International Year of Soils at our local Combined Congress, in 2015. Along with this, we celebrate our society’s 60 year anniversary, and the 50 year anniversary of our first local Soil Science Congress. The Combined Congress will be held in George, from January, 2015. Along with the SSSSA, the Combined Congress hosts sister societies South African Society for Crop Production (SASCP), South African Weed Science Society (SAWSS) and the South African Society of Horticultural Sciences (SASHS). Soil Science festivities at the congress will include a special Keynote address; a SoilScience function on one night of the congress; a stand celebrating Soils, and soils -related gifts to all congress delegates.
