Embrapa Soils' historic circuit visitation
Embrapa Solos open its door January, 15th to the visitation of a historic circuit, that shows the memory of the SOIL History in Brazil.
It is a gift of the National Centre of Research in Soil - EMBRAPA Solos for all citizens and visitors in the International Year of Soil (2015) established by FAO, the same year when Embrapa Solos turns 40!
The Circuit is composed of 15 panels of 1m2 size, located in six different parts of the historic building of Embrapa Solos, that tell the story Soil Research and Development. The circuit also tells the story of the Institute of Agricultural Chemistry (which occupied the building from 1918 to 1962) and also about the Division of Pedology and Soil Fertility (1962 until 1975, when the Embrapa Solos was created).
